Major bragging rights and $10,000 will be on the line in Las Vegas as the country’s best potato salad cooks will face off in the championship event of Reser’s 2nd Annual “America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge” at the World Food Championships.

On the hunt to find the best potato salad recipe out there, Reser’s Fine Foods is challenging cooks across the nation to prove their spuds are superior. Contestants have the opportunity to enter their best potato salad dish in the live cooking competition, in partnership with the Kansas City Barbeque Society at nine different events, or submit their best potato salad recipe online at Resers.com

“People are passionate about potatoes!” states Lacey Werner, Reser’s Fine Foods associate category manager. “Last year, more than 900 home cooks and competition teams across the country gave us some really creative takes on this picnic and BBQ favorite. We can’t wait to see what people will whip up this year.”  Werner adds, “The World Food Championships was the perfect home for our championship event last year, and we’re extremely excited to be back in Las Vegas this November.”

Reser’s America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge will invite the top nine winners from their online recipe contest and the six champions from the KCBS live competitions to duke it out in one final potato salad throw-down. In the end, only one grand-prize winner will walk away with the $10,000 check. Will it be you?

Don’t miss out on your chance to show America who’s got the finest potato salad recipe in all the land at the World Food Championships.
