HEAD COOK: Jonathan Scinto

COMPETITION: World Chef Championship

Jonathan Scinto is a celebrated celebrity chef, TV show creator, and entrepreneur known for his bold, flavor-forward cooking and innovative approach to food. Born in Queens, N.Y., and raised on Long Island, Jonathan’s diverse background inspired his signature "Itasian" fusion style—a one-of-a-kind blend of rustic Italian flavors and rich, umami-packed Asian influences that he’s famous for across the country. Jonathan’s Itasian style and culinary expertise have been featured across top national platforms, including the Food Network, Eat This, Not That!, Forbes, HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, iHeart Radio, and Getty Images. His unique flavor combinations and high-energy presence have made him a standout in both the culinary world and the media. His cooking philosophy is all about creating emotional, sensory-driven experiences—where every dish tells a story. Known for comfort food with a twist, Jonathan specializes in steaks, seafood, pasta, sauces, and grilling, transforming traditional recipes with his signature edge. He’s also acclaimed for his expertise in cooking with alcohol, using wine, spirits, and liqueurs to add deep, layered flavor to his dishes. Jonathan refuses to cut corners—no canned goods, no microwaves—only fresh, scratch-made food built on quality and creativity. He’s competed in the World Food Championships for the past eight years, placing 2nd and 3rd in the Chef Category, and going head-to-head with some of the best chefs on the planet. At WFC, Jonathan competes as part of the high-energy, fan-favorite duo known as “2 Brotha’s from Anotha,” alongside fellow chef and co-host Ricky Robertson. Together, they bring fire, flavor, and unfiltered fun to the competition stage, known for their synergy in the kitchen, bold culinary risks, and a signature style that turns heads—and wins over judges. Jonathan has appeared on popular television programs including Food Network’s Chopped, MasterChef Season 6, and Iron Chef Live: Autumn Bounty Battle, showcasing his natural talent for cooking and entertaining. He’s known for being cool, confident, and charismatic, delivering big flavors with an even bigger personality. Before becoming a chef full-time, Jonathan worked as a graphic designer and Client Services Manager at Post Perfect, serving top-tier clients like The Sopranos, Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey, and Linkin Park. He later opened Home Cookin’ Café, a high-volume scratch kitchen known for serving 500 breakfasts a day using fresh, local ingredients—all with just a two-man team. He went on to create and host Family Kitchen Revival, a heartfelt and inspiring culinary series now streaming on The Roku Channel, which puts a modern twist on family recipes while honoring tradition. He also stars in At Home with Chef Jonathan alongside Chef Ricky Robertson—a wild, hilarious, and unfiltered show packed with quick recipes, laughs, bold flavors, and real talk. As the founder of JS Entertainment, Jonathan produces unscripted food TV, branded content, and interactive culinary events in collaboration with national brands. He’s also the author of Unleash Your Personal Brand: A Step-By-Step Guide for Beginners, available on Amazon, helping creatives and entrepreneurs find their voice and grow their brand in today’s fast-moving digital world. Whether he’s lighting up the screen, leading the kitchen, or building the next big idea, Jonathan Scinto is redefining the food experience—one fearless bite at a time. His motto? “Let your tongue have fun.”
